| Jean Walenston (nicknamed Dawens) was born on November 22, 1998 in Port au Prince, Haiti. He has 2 brothers who also live at the orphanage, Jean Junior Paul & Jean Emmanuel. They were brought to the orphanage after their father was shot and killed in a political uprising in Port au Prince in December, 2004. Their mother is still living but lost her sanity. Walenston likes sports, especially football (soccer) and basketball. |
Jean Walenston is waiting for a sponsor.
DOB: November 22, 1998
Faith Missions International raises the full support to care for the ongoing needs of the children in the Gift of God Orphanage in Port au Prince, Haiti. Sponsors for the children are essential to reaching the monthly needs at the orphanage.
Care for the children, which includes shelter, three meals a day, clothing, nannies, education and medical care, costs approximately $120 per child, per month.
The Child Sponsorship Program offers two levels of support:
• Full Sponsorship - $120 per month
• Shared Sponsorship - $40 per month
We seek one ‘Full Sponsor’ or three ‘Shared Sponsors’ for each child.
As a sponsor, you will receive a folder with your child’s photo and a short video outlining the history of the orphanage; some of the trials these children have endured in the past; and a glimpse at life today at the orphanage. Periodically, we will email photos of your sponsored child as updated photos become available.
Jean Walenston needs two Shared Sponsors. If you are ready to bless Walenston by becoming his sponsor, please email us and a Sponsorship Form will be sent to you.
