| Moses 'Joey' was born on May 28, 2005. Joey’s birth mother did not want him when he was born and she left him in a garbage heap to die. A Haitian couple found the infant and took him into their home, but did not adopt him as their own. In early 2011, they were granted visas to the United States, but because Joey was not their legal child, they could not get a passport and visa for him. They elected to leave Joey behind in Haiti and ventured off to the US without him. Joey joined the Gift of God family on September 16, 2011. |

Faith Missions
International raises the full support to care for the ongoing needs of
the children in the Gift of God Orphanage in Port au Prince, Haiti.
Sponsors for the children are essential to reaching the monthly needs at
the orphanage.
Care for the children, which includes shelter, three meals a day, clothing,
nannies, education and medical care, costs approximately $120 per child,
per month.
The Child Sponsorship Program offers two levels of support:
• Full Sponsorship - $120 per month
• Shared Sponsorship - $40 per month
We seek one ‘Full Sponsor’ or three ‘Shared Sponsors’ for each child.
As a sponsor, you will receive a folder with your child’s photo and a short
video outlining the history of the orphanage; some of the trials these
children have endured in the past; and a glimpse at life today at the
orphanage.
Periodically, we will email photos of your sponsored child as updated
photos become available.
Joey is fully sponsored at this time. Click here to choose a child in need of a sponsor.
