Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!  Psalm 34:8

He is indeed good all of the time. Right now we are especially thankful as we look back over 2011 and have realized the Lords’ Hand of Provision through you for the children in the Gift of God Orphanage.

Our children ate every day this past year. They had purified drinking water; they had a bed to sleep in; they had an education; they were ministered to by many wonderful short-term mission teams; and they grew deeper in their walk with Jesus.

Psalm 82:3
says, “Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy.”

God’s answer to injustice is His people – you and me – we are called to see to the needs of those who suffer at the hand of injustice. The needs of our children were met by you this past year. Thank you for caring for them.

When you come to visit our children in Haiti, you will find that life is very basic, no Nintendo, no big screen television, not many extras, but that which is needful for life. Many times, as short-term missionaries come, we see tears in their eyes as they tour the orphanage. What they see are basic bunk-beds, no toys laying around, it is a life where needs are met, but very rarely do wants even make it to the list.

We need your support for these children, we need your prayers, and we need you to go and minister the love of God to them.

"It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."  Acts 4:10a,12 (NIV)

    •  We believe in the Triune God, co-equal, co-substantial and co-eternal, as revealed in Scripture and creation (Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 1:20).

    •  We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Son of Man, fully human and fully divine, the fullest and complete Revelation of God (John 1:1-3,14; Colossians 2:9).

    •  We believe that the Holy Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is given by the inspiration of God and is His divine revelation inerrant and infallible as originally given, and sufficient as our only rule of faith (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).

    •  We believe that human beings were created by God, having been made in His image, but we are fallen and sinful by nature, in need of salvation which is available by grace through faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-10; Acts 4:12; John 14:6-7).

    •  We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, indwelt, empowered and gifted by the Holy Spirit and commissioned to make disciples and to be messengers of God's reconciliation through Jesus Christ (John 14:16-17; Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Corinthians 5:17-20).

    •  We believe in the future resurrection of the dead, the saved unto eternal life and the unsaved unto damnation (John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:11-15).

    •  We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ, our Lord, at a future time of God's choosing to judge the risen dead and to establish His eternal kingdom in the New Heaven and New Earth (John 14:1-3; Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 21:1-4).

    •  FMI is inter, multi, non and trans-denominational. We are committed to the Body, the whole Body, and nothing but the Body. We are Christian. We are not religiously pluralistic. We are defined and described by Biblical evangelical Christian distinctives.
